The new Polish training jet is M-346 Master
In the years 2016-2017 Poland will get 8 Alenia Aermacchi M-346 Master training aircrafts, simulators, electronic classes and other teaching aids. These records are put in an agreement worth 280 million euro and signed on the 27th of February 2014 in Deblin, where is the base and a school for flying training Polish Air Force.
In the ceremony took part : Polish Deputy Defense Minister Czeslaw Mroczek, the Italian Ambassador in Poland Riccardo Guariglia, Polish General Commander (joint command Polish Armed Forces) general Lech Majewski, commander of the Italian Air Force general Pasquale Preziosa and the president of Alenia Aermacchi Giuseppe Giordo. According to the observers, this event attracted media more than signing an agreement on the F-16 over 10 years ago.

It is not decided yet whether it will be PZL Swidnik (the most important Italian investment in the Polish aviation industry) or another location. At the end of the year 2016 Poland will receive two first M-346 Master aircrafts. The remaining 6 pieces and the accessories will reach Poland in 2017. Therefore there is only one year on the practical implementation of the order. Due to the fact that Poland needs training planes for the preparation of F-16 pilots, avionics Masters will be more like Israel and Singapore M-346, and built not like for the Italian Air Force.
Poland secured its records for the optional purchase of additional 4 aircrafts M -346 Master. According to the minister Mroczek, its use will determine the need and developing in Deblin an international training center not only used by the Polish Air Force. General Majewski added that the creation of such a center, one of the most modern in the world, is possible in the years 2018-2020. Additionally, the 41st Base of Training Aviation in Deblin will also evolve towards a military training center drone pilots.
Alenia Aermacchi can gain other benefits from the Polish investment in the system AJT. The modernized center in Deblin can be indicated as the basic module of advanced aviation training for combat aircrafts, used in the European country with a relatively large, as in our continent, freedom in planning and implementation of training missions. Deblin may be a pattern indicated by the Italians.
